Talented Cast Brings Powerful Story To Life

Ted Lange from "The Love Boat" will soon be making "another run" with a new production: The Journals of Osborne P. Anderson

Mr. Lange wrote and directed the play--which premieres today and runs until June 28 at Theatre Theater in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles News | FOX 11 LA KTTV

The story is based on John Brown's 1859 raid on Harper's Ferry and the untold story of Osborne P. Anderson-- the only surviving black member of that mission. After fleeing north, Anderson was able to pen A Voice From Harper's Ferry-- which has been used a key historical reference since 1861.

One of the play's leading men is Thomas Anthony Jones (above center) who was profiled by Zack's TV in 2013. For Jones, the play presents an exciting challenge; he has a stronger background in television and film. Still, audience members should expect amazing performances from the entire cast.

If you will be in Los Angeles from May 15 to June 28, this is something to place on your to-do list.
